Intuitive Eating... What is it?

An approach to changing your eating habits without dieting. The national eating disorder association, “believes intuitive eating is about trusting your body to make food choices that feel good for you without judging yourself or the influence of diet culture.” (Credit: Cedar Sanai) It helps you recognize your body's signals for hunger and fullness there by reaching Satiation. It makes you think about food as fuel as a way to live for Survival rather than a filler that you just Want to eat. Sad thing is a lot of people don't know dieting can cause emotional, physical and spiritual distress. That means just listening/feeling the cues internally from our body, of being hungry and when we are full, must be the only way to guage when and how much we should consume. Just know this won’t happen overnight for everyone so please be patient with yourself. There are some who strive for perfection but making breakthroughs even slight advancements is what will get results.
